It's been a long time :)

Yeah...its been a long time since i last blogged...been very busy lately....haha...with assignments and OB stuff....and more recently the Pinnacle race which was held last saturday...gotta say..it was a very fun race..hehehe.....realli wanna thank the ARC peeps for organising such a fun adventure race...though me and my partner, Ying Jia didnt win...we actualli enjoyed the process..the challenges...and really wanna thank her for encouraging me when i had muscle cramp while pushing the bicycle..for one of the stations...it was really painful...the cramp...but i got through it...with some help from my partner....and the last 2 challenges...i realli wanted to do one of them...

Ying jia told me not to do....cuz she was afraid my muscle would cramp while doing them both....welll...guess she was right....Ascending & Abseiling..but no worries...i know...she meant me well....hahha...yup...realli appreciate it....but i quite bad to let her do both activities...because she was also sick..n its not good to push yourself too much when u are sick...but she was a really strong girl :) ..haha..so in the end..both people in the teams had problems...hahah...

And did i mention i have been taking up korean language classes since last tuesday...from 6pm to 8pm..everyweek...haha...i will persevere...though its not easy...hehee....till then...CyA!!! :)

An Expedition which i will never forget!!

Hey guys...im back!!!haha...back from climbing gunung stong in malaysia....gotta say....i realli enjoyed myself during the expedition... and learn lots of stuff about the jungle and to respect and understand it...

we had 2 guides wif us ....they were Uncle and Abang Sharil....gotta take my hats off them....they're really experienced. with all their knowledge of the entire mountain....and through talking to them...my knowledge of nature has certainly been enriched...no doubt..haha

We managed to ascend to the summit...even though there was one time we were on the verge of descending to the foot of the mountain without climbing to the summit due to safety reasons..but we still managed to accomplish our main objective of climbing to the summit..YEAH!!!

As a sub-comm for this expedition....i realli learnt a whole lot more about myself through this expedition...i won't say i did a very good job...but i felt that i did just okie....there are certainly lots more room for improvements....so i shall not brood too much about my mistakes and instead move on and change my weaknesses into strengths....and that no matter how tired i am...i shouldnt complain about it...its what christina told me...and i fully agree with her on this...and i hv thus reflected on my options...

This expedition wouldn't have been a success without the sub-comm and the participants. They were great!!Really Great!!!When we were deciding whether to continue to ascend to the summit., I could see the desire in the participant's eyes...how much they wanted to continue..as safety officers..me n hong soon agreed that we shouldn't continue...because if we did...we would b facing night descend which would b very dangerous...however...when we ask the participants if they wanted to continue...all raised their hands...i thought we should put ourselves in the participants' shoes...they paid the money after all..to enjoy the trip.....so we decided to reverse our decision and continue to ascend to the summit...

The Participants were great...Really wanna thank u guys!!!Thank You!!haha
Im really glad that everyone enjoyed themselves. :)

And for my fellow sub-comm members, Finally!!haha....its over and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly rite!!haha....months of planning have not gone to waste...although there were some parts of the program that couldn't be carried out...but well...at least we got through it!!haha...Gunung Stong Sub-Comm....U guys ROCK!!!Haha....Really enj0yed all the meetings we had!!!haha...n will treasure all those funny moments!!!hahaha :)

haha...yeah...after resting for a month after OBS.... I will b away again...this time..it won't be that long....4 days....

Im going on an expedition trip to Gunung Stong...in kelantan malaysia....Starting from tomorrow...haha....this trip has been planned since july/august...n im in the sub-comm for this expedition...haha...well....i must say i really enjoyed working with my fellow sub-comm peeps HongSoon,Shu Juan,Jocelyn,Jacqueline,Joe, Christina and Dong Yang...realli enjoyed every meeting we had...hahah...yup....now after months of preparation...we can finally set Off!!!..haha
JIA YOU!!! hope it will be a fun and successful trip!!!haha... :)...

By the way, i havent been blogging lately cuz im not in the mood to do so and don't know what to blog....i hope the situation will improve..of course.... :)... oh and the song...ooops...i forgot to post the lyrics...but im gonna change the song...when i return from the trip :)...
