2 more weeks! Yes :)

this must be one of the longest holidays i have ever spent..well..i say one of the longest because i have spent longer ones...but somehow..this holidays have never really got me going...such that... there were very few things to keep me occupied..other than a couple of AO camps and my tuition...zomg

if u asked me... i preferred the semester break from august to october last year...haha..because that particular break was very fulfilling for me... OBS and Stong Expedition...but anyway..2 more weeks left to the start of the new academic year 08/09 :) ... start of year 2...its gonna b so exciting...i have a feeling something interesting is gonna happen in semester 3...dunnoe juz got that feeling..maybe i might be wrong but who cares? hahahah...

But of course i have learnt a few things during this holidays.. PATIENCE...yes...PATIENCE.... it has been tested to the limit... and im glad that i am a very tolerant person..hahha...everytime my patience was tested...i handled it well..never blew my top or whatever...because i didnt see the need to... :) ..hahaha... and what other things have i learnt?? hmm....oh...yes... interpersonal skills...i got to deal with even more kinds of people...some i tried to understand...but their attitude just don't allow me to..so what do i do then? ...i just tried my best to communicate with them whenever i can..it would improve overtime...

i realized its impossible to have everyone in the world as your friend..because...i believe there must be some balance...u have friends and enemies all that...if its too perfect..then where's the joy of living...i mean..there are some people whom u try to make friends with....but like i said...its all in the attitude...for me... i think..attitude is a very huge factor for me when making friends...and i mean real friends... yeap...

juz giving my opinions though...im not talking about anyone...just suddenly thought about this topic..so yeap :)

old pictures..

These pics are kinda old...but nevertheless i'll still post them...my blog cant b too wordy...which has been the case..

Time to look forward

i haven't been updating my blog..i know.. because these days i cant find the mood to blog or anything to blog about so i shall just write a summary of what happened during the weekends..

7th-9th december

i had AO camp. it was my first camp as a trainer. i thought i was going to the camp as an attache..whereby i would be attached to a trainer..but when i arrived at the school...the camp chief nino gave me a group to handle .... i must admit i was very nervous...cuz i have never ever handled a group on my own before...

but what followed was quite an interesting camp...i found out the experience trainer whom i'll be kind attached to...was my camp instructor from my sec 3 camp..her name is Dani... what a coincidence man.. she gave me some useful advices about the different types of leadership styles which were used by the other trainers...learnt quite a fair bit i must say..

as for the group im in charge of...they weren't the most cheery of them all...as in do cheers at every moment of the day unlike some other groups....but they were willing to listen to our instructions and....above all...they were independent..

im really glad that they enjoyed the camp...and as for me...the camp was a truly memorable experience for me.. :)

we also celebrated eunice's and yingjia's birthday yesterday...had lots of fun at sentosa...playing at the beach..made me forget lots of my troubles...NPOB peeps really rock my life... :)

hmm...what do i want for my birthday? dun require much really..im not exactly desperate for anything...hmm...if only i had a CK IN2U perfume/cologne...it smells good... or a pair of OAKLEY SHADES...HAHAHAHA....dreamin man...lolz

as we edge ever closer to the start of school...the beginning of a new academic year....i would like to say....year 1 of my poly life has been a roller coaster ride...with lots of highs and lows...made lots of new friends...whom i would definitely treasure..as they say...remember and keep your old friends and treasure your new ones.... the experiences in NPOB and my current class 1T06 would definitely be an important part of my life..

how i wish year 2 could start now...14th april faster come :)

Holidays and Games Leadership

hahahha...well.. i was off during the weekends for yet another camp.. Games Leadership Course at OBS....it wasn't really a camp i would say...its more of a course to learn even more about creating games...ice breakers..team building games.. all that...this was the first camp which did not make me sweat at all...instead...by the end of the first day..i was mentally tired..not physically tired...first time i had such a feeling during a camp or course...so during the first day..i didnt speak much...cuz i was thinking for the whole day...about all that i have learnt..

it was only on the second day which i became more outspoken and speak up to give my opinions all that...we were split into 2 groups..where we had to think of a ice breaker and team building game..it was a great and totally new experience....because with our new found knowledge... we realized it is not so easy to plan an ice breaker after all... team building is easier imo...

as for the holidays... i hope its gonna b a fruitful one..i alrdy missed 2 AO camps already..i wanna go for the next one...i dont care man...i wanna apply what i learnt during the games leadership course into the AO camps...the debriefing parts...please please...next AO camp..i really wanna go!!!
