The Big Break :)

And so the holidays have begun...my big break after a testing semester for me..i really needed a break after all that's happened this semester..and this first week of holidays has been truly enjoyable for me....

Let's start off with last saturday...had a really great OB Outing at sentosa...what with soccer-volleyball-soccer-monkey-soccer...only took a break after playing those sports hahah..and of course celebrate huishi's, rachel's , xin yi's, jun kai's birthday and yu heng's departing gift(he's going to china for attachment) very soon..

hahaha..then sunday..went to collect the nike human race race pack with some OB peeps..damn long queue...but thanks to victor..we managed to cut short our waiting time by a whole lot..hehehe...the t-shirt was not bad..had our own racer ID on the front and the names of all the participating countries at the back... had a huge nike water bottle as well..quite value for money..i must say..lolz.. cant wait for the race this sunday... :)

then came my class chalet from monday to wednesday...We had a hell of a time there..at Coasta Sands Resort, Pasir Ris Park. Charles and his classmates were there too LOL..haha..i thought they were at the downtown east branch. but anyway

we didnt really sleep much during the chalet... don't see the purpose of sleeping too much during a chalet..we're there to have fun haha.. so we didnt sleep at all on the first night..instead we played mahjong..played cards and all... i FINALLY learnt to play Mahjong..have been trying to learn it for sometime now..but didnt really have the opportunity to do so..its a very fun game actually..that is..if you know how to play it..

we had our BBQ on our second night...where 2 other friends of my classmates joined us..tried and failed quite a few times to make the fire small enough to make it possible to start BBQ-ing the food...ate quite a number of uncooked food..but...ahh..its okie...its all part of experimenting..LOL...

then later on at night...we played some card and dice games..the loser had to drink some Alcohol we drank a bottle of Martell and later.. a bottle of Absolut Vodka and, if they choose to do so, add some other drinks into the mix to make the mixture tastier.. some of us had our faces red like a tomato by the end of the first game.. we were feeling very hot...but we still continued...and one of the game which required us to be aware of what's happening...all of us screwed up badly...couldnt concentrate anymore..so naturally we had to drink more alcohol and other mixtures..hahah..and i swore all of us had bladder problems..had to visit the toilet at the end of each round... Very Healthy indeed...

Then we decided to talk by the pool just outside our chalet...it was mostly Volleyball-Dominated since 2 of the girls were in the Volleyball CCA during their secondary school days...then we decided to head off to sleep.. By that time..most of us were already KO-ed... nothing could have waken us up from our slumber...

We left on wednesday morning...feeling very tired and unable to keep our eyes open for too long...one of my classmate, donovan, i think he had hangover...he was walking down the stairs of the chalet..holding his head..like he's having some headache...

WELL... even though we were all drained..but the most important thing was... We Had FUN!! :)

A New Favourite Song

Just when i thought i had recovered. It got somewhat worse. went to see a doctor yesterday. said i had fever and inflammation of the area near my throat, which explains why my body feels so heaty. it just had to happen before my exams and his birthday celebration today. at least now. i feel much better. this visit to the doctor cost me $57...wth...and my illness isnt even considered that major.

Deja - Vu?

i've been in this situation before. the second time of the year when i'll be sick. what's wrong with my body man. woke up today feeling not so okay. as compared to previous days. had a minor headache yesterday. but today. i felt very tired and my body was in some pain which i cant explain the source of it. it was more of the back of my body. not the short sharp pain but rather the pain which makes your body feel weak.

And all these is happening before the exams. great. i suffered the same thing last year a few days before my final semester tests. i hope im this is just for a day or two because i still have a few more revisions to be done before i think im prepared for this very important exams.

Pray hard Derrick! LOL and i really wanna get into the Business Management Option. No NAS for me please. Name sounds cool. Contents ain't cool.

Island Creamery and Mugging :)

Today's the first time i went to Island Creamery at Serene Centre. Only passed by there lots of times. but never went in there. well today. i did. hahahaha. went to meet aqilah, kenneth and his friend, dorothy to mug at Island Creamery. The place is rather nice i must say. hahaha..had photos, of other people who came to the place before, being pasted onto the walls to show how much people like the place. i was tempted to do one too. but didnt do it. the photos had quite a few pretty girls inside..ahahahah

anyways the i had ice cream there ( Of course!) and they are...mmmmmmm..very yummy indeed :) comparable to cold rock @ holland village. i think im very lucky ahahaha..i have 2 great ice cream paradise to choose from...Cold Rock is just 5 mins walk from my house and Island Creamery is just a few bus stops away!! MUAHHAHAHAHA

i had strawberry sorbet and nutella as my first order of the day..Left a very Tasting Impression i must say. then later i was hungry and went to get some Pratas with aqilah, who ate something else. A whie later, i found my stomach crying for some food. well i just had to try one of the alaskan pies :) they look very tasty..hehehehe.. and they really are!! hahaha you've gotta try them man...hahaha...maybe next time i'll bring you there...

Guys if you havent been to Island Creamery. i recommend you to go there and indulge yourself in that fantastically delicious ice cream paradise :) who cares if you'll gain a few kgs of fats..ahahah..your stomach is important...should treat it very well u know..hahaha

National Day Outing!!

hahahahah. had a really fun time yesterday with mirza, shujuan, huishi and hafiz. we were out intending to catch the fireworks for this year's NDP. Think as i grow older, the proposition of going to the NDP itself is losing its attractiveness. maybe its because i've been to too many NDPs. Now i find it fun just going to the vicinity around the NDP venue to catche the fireworks. I mean. whats the best thing about NDPs?? FIREWORKS OF COURSE!!! hahaha..so without much further ado. i present the photos of the extremely fun and crazy outing of 9 August 2008.

UPDATES

okay. i'm finally done with all my projects. which means i have some breathing space and time for now at least before i start to revise for my exams.

shall talk about EDU camp. which happened in the midst of all my projects. the timing of the camp was not the best because i had to choose between not going for the camp and meeting my friends to complete the project or go for the camp and entrust my friends to complete the project. i was very tempted to choose the former. discussed it with both my friends and OB peeps. naturally, both parties gave their desired answers. somewhat. Challenged by choice.

I chose to go for EDU camp instead. i have to say i enjoyed it. learn some stuff and the morning PT on sunday morning was a throw back to my SJAB days back in secondary school so i could handle it well.

but after coming back from the camp, i found out that project was not really completed yet. so i had to stay up late till monday morning. finished my part of the project, which i thought i had completed, while my other friends were also finishing up their part.

submitted on monday morning. presented on monday morning as well. everything went rather OK. and was left with one more project which was just completed yesterday.

So yeah. after all theses hustle and bustle. i think i've learnt to endure even more. which is good. very good i would say. and also learnt about decision making and being more prepared. :) yup.
